Introducing ERA: Ecological Regeneration Agency 🌱
"Yield is not a fixed sum... Information is the critical potential resource. It becomes a resource only when obtained and acted upon."

It is time to translate critical environmental information into better resource creation.

Welcome to ERA—where open-source innovation meets ecological regeneration.

🌐 The Big Vision

Responding to climate change consciously.

Imagine a world where environmental research isn’t siloed in academic journals, but applied through regenerative design. Resources are unleashed through open-source innovations that fully respond to the complexity of the challenges we face. It is a world in which a harmonious environment for thriving civilizations is designed into the surface of the earth for current and future generations.

Earth Care is born in response to an authentic inner vision: paradise on Earth scaling to support all of humanity and the whole biosphere in a natural emerging order with peace and abundance. Civilization, only, actualized by design. A restoration of sanity through the social and environmental determinants of health. Yet grounded and practical, implemented pragmatically, one enterprise at a time. For those who are ready to respond consciously to climate change, the ERA is here.

While conventional monocultures have a stronghold on the majority of farmland and industrial design blueprints, they also have their practical advantages. Grant funding opportunities. Tax subsidies. Revolving door between big agriculture and regulatory agencies. Seed mafias enforcing intellectual property of propriety seeds, providing one-stop-shops to buy seeds, chemicals, and equipment. Yet the whole industry of conventional agriculture seems entirely unsustainable, riddled with bureaucracy, and ripe for innovation. Whoever accepts that battle is the hero.

In today’s world, heroes aren’t arriving on battlefields. They’re rising from the soil. They’re restoring life to land, reading the language of ecosystems, designing for balance and renewal. They track soil health, harmonize parts with the whole, and measure success in context, not just yield. If you’re one of these quiet revolutionaries, I want to connect with you—and offer my support.

The time has come for innovation that heals, that scales, that regenerates.

🧠 The Challenge

Implementing good research to create peaceful civilization.

In order to make sense of the full potential that humanity has to design ecological regeneration, it is essential to name the concept of peaceful civilization. When I perceive the word civilization, I wonder if we're there. If we're not co-creating peaceful civilization, what needs to be done to co-create it?

Rather than looking at ecological regeneration as a purely agronomic pursuit, I suggest it is vital to consider the multi-dimensional features of peaceful civilization. Of course there is an abundance of nutritious food for all. Of course there is clean water for all. Of course there are safe spaces for all the forms of life to cohabitate on earth in the emerging harmony of the Mother Earth.

All of these emergent orders can be designed for. I believe now it is especially imperative for the ecological regeneration to be plugged into grassroots global communities, and I see many emerging in symbiosis with Earth Care Network.

The weight of need is vast, billions still await a path that scales. But time slips through our fingers; the hour for trial has passed. The earth is not asking. It is insisting. While bureaucratic systems decay in slow, reluctant spirals, we turn the soil with intention, stirring change by design. Speed is not virtue, nor is slowness vice. Only urgency matters when the house is burning. The climate is shifting. And the beautiful truth is this: you are not powerless. You can begin now.

🌱 Introducing ERA

ERA: Ecological Regeneration Agency

ERA is tasked with translating climate research into reality. It's for environmental researchers who are ready to commercialize ecologically regenerative innovation through a mindset of open-source stewardship.

With a diversified network of teammates to co-design prototypes, anyone can post a request for a prototype and receive responses in our prototype portal. Soon, our team will release a directory with a few thousand regenerative enterprises that we're organizing into a federated open-source dataset! Yet, I believe a great deal of innovation will come when YOU share your ideas through the network.

I have a bunch of ideas for open source tools to make more accessible through the network, and to release as new creative commons applications. I believe that through better information technology systems, better ecological outcomes can be accounted for. IT is the backend of education, enterprise management, finance, and so many more functions into basically one unified component: the web.

The internet is not only the place to track the data about ecological regeneration – it's also the place to share the memes about it. To make ecological regeneration cooler, hipper, even more of a social norm - a global standard. Peaceful civilization.

This will be prototyped. It will be researched, refined, and brought to life. Now is the moment to turn vital environmental insights into powerful tools for regeneration. The shift from extraction to renewal is already underway. Will you be part of the movement transforming broken, conventional systems into living, regenerative ones?

🤝 Get Involved

Let's create ecological regeneration together.

To create a thriving planet from this point in our reality, action is required. Ecologically regenerative innovation is paramount to embed into all systems through a mindful approach to information technology evolution. Industries from finance, education, and building can become more informed by open-sourcing information that becomes a new resource to share in the Creative Commons.

Globally coordinated, locally implemented, ecological regeneration as a service. Translating critical environmental information into better resource creation, through better open-source information technology systems.

If you're an environmental researcher who is ready to implement next generation technology, I want to ask you some questions! I created survey.earthcare.network as a tool to pass around, so you can easily share insight into your world. You'll see a link there where you can also book a call directly with me about your ideas!

I've also prototyped a simple new prototype portal. If you've got ideas - drop them in there and let's see what the community co-creates! portal.earthcare.network

🎤 My Story

Why I'm all in on ecological regeneration.

I recorded this video to help me get the creative juices flowing as I sat down to write this article. Feeling intimidated by the depth of vision, stuttering through, I was unsure about whether to publish it or not. Yet, it did help me get my thoughts a bit more organized in their natural wild emerging order.

I thought I might as well share a bit about the journey I've been on leading up to co-creating Earth Care Network. For me, it comes down to responding to suffering; realizing the value of creating ecological regeneration by design. ERA is basically the fusion of everything I've learned. Cheers, to continue learning together!
