Earth Care Network exists to serve people and the planet. It is the open-source control plane for the regenerative economy: a public directory, claimed brand sites, and a growth operating system operators can hand to the next generation. Every AI action goes through a metered gateway. Self-hosters bring their own keys and pay ECN nothing for AI. Fairness and transparency are product features. As Head of Engineering you own that bar: production quality, the Django + Next.js monorepo, and a team that ships work operators can trust. What you do • Lead the engineering team and the technical bar • Keep the AIGateway the only path for model calls (BYOK and managed) • Make the public network and claimed profiles trustworthy • Hire and unstick engineers without adding process for its own sake This is a full-time leadership role at Earth Care Network.

• You have led engineering on a production product, not only a prototype • You can read Django and TypeScript well enough to review the work • You care about fairness, open source, and operators who regenerate land and community • You would rather ship a boring correct system than a clever one
